Gratis - Messaging and Voice Calls app for iPhone and iPad

Gratis is a new messaging, chat and voice calls (VOIP) app available on iPhone that have been developed to meet needs for users who are not happy with existing chat, messaging and/or VOIP applications.

In addition to basic messaging, Gratis users can create groups, send each other unlimited images, video and audio media messages, automatically translate received message in a foreigner language, re-send chat message as SMS for urgent message and customize the look of the app with different themes (different colours and background images availabe).

Here is the list of features offered by Gratis and most of them are not found in any of existing messaging, chat or/and VOIP app:

1. Gratis has no ads and is free to download and free to use.

2. Your phone number is your user ID. No need to create a username and
password.

3. You can make free calls to other Gratis users that are online. You can
make cheap international calls.

4. You can make charged calls (Gratis Out) that are charged using the
lowest possible rates. All international destinations are reachable by
Gratis.

5. EMERGENCY call credits. When you do not have credit and you cannot
top up, you can request urgent credit ($2) and it will be immediately
credited to your account. Next time you top up, it will be deducted from
the top up.

6. You can personalized the app by changing app colours and
background image.

7. You have option to translate automatically received messages in the
language that you understand. People who do not speak the same
language can chat, each write in his language and receive messages
in his language. You can translate also one message from a chat room.

8. Resend chat as SMS (mobile text message). When you send an urgent
message and you noticed that it was not read, you can convert the
chat message to SMS and SMS is sent to the same person by one
click. SMS is received even if the receiver is not online.

9. More privacy. “Last seen” status, "Online" status and "Message read"
or not read information can be disabled / enabled for one or more
contacts in your address book by a simple click.

10. More security. You can recall a message that was sent by mistake to
another user any time. The sender is always the owner of the message
and can delete it on any device remotely. What’s important is to avoid
embarrassing messages or photo/video.
